(Left to right) Dr. Michael Turton, Scott Summer and Dr. Graeme Bell.Recently we have the honor to hear Dr. Turton speech at MingChuan University in Taoyuan, Taiwan. All the audience were second year Mass Communication student of IC (International College) of Ming Chuan Universtiy.
Presenting our guest was Dr.Graeme Bell, professor at Mingchuan University for the International college. Having another guest listening to Dr. Turton's speech was Scott Summer, another notorious blogger in Taiwan.
The original goal of Dr. Turton was to present general information about Taiwan.
Dr. Turton has been in Taiwan since 1999, and he has been writing articles since 1996, at this time Dr Turton built a website about Taiwan before blogging. With this website as a tool to connect the outside community (on the internet) about Taiwan, with a lot of pictures to show.
Dr Turton also have a web page about 'Teaching English in Taiwan'. This web page has links to other articles written by him like Teaching at the university at Taiwan, Travels and trips in Taiwan, related pictures of Taiwan just to name a few of his links.
Those articles are useful information for future visitors and people whom want know more of Taiwan, like Dr Turton said has information in social dating, travel, and people find it very useful. In his speech Dr Turton said that he started blogging since 2005, also worked with the Taiwan Independent Movement in Washington D.C. meaning that Dr Turton not just has contributed with articles on the internet about Taiwan, but also in cooperation groups helping to improve Taiwan image to the rest of the world.
